About this print . . .
The Ed Hendler Cable Bridge, built in 1978, was the first major cable-stayed bridge in the United States. It replaced the narrow 1922 Columbia River Toll Bridge known as the Green Bridge. Spanning the Columbia River between Pasco and Kennewick, it is 2503 feet long and 80 feet wide. Its towers rise 240 feet above the Columbia. 138 lights, added in 1998, highlight the white cables against night skies. Above information courtesy of the Richland Public Library. Limited Edition signed and numbered prints: 11" X 14" Cable Bridge
